It is a very common occurrence that young people leave their house and apartment doors and their moving truck doors open while the bring their belongings in and out of their buildings.

The victim said that while moving out of his apartment, a man walked into his building and confronted him with a knife. The front door had been left open, since the victim was moving items in and out.
The suspect reportedly entered the apartment with a piece of mail in his hand, asking the victim if he had dropped it outside. At this point, the suspect raised a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet and e-book, which was in the victim’s hands at the time, according to police.
