Government Negligence Results in Death of 10-year-old Abuse Victim
[From article]
The girl's grandmother, Robin Moss, was quoted by local news media on Sunday and Monday as saying that she suspected Emani was being abused, but couldn't persuade state authorities to grant her custody.
Emani's mother, Danita Leaks, told Atlanta FOX affiliate WAGA-TV on Monday that she and Eman Moss fought over custody for two to three years and she was unaware that her daughter was being abused.
This shows that negligence of the human service industrial complex (MA State Rep. Marie Parente's term), is not limited to Massachusetts. In this case from Georgia, a child was beaten regularly and authorities did little to protect the girl. In one case in Massachusetts an elder was being harassed by police and crime families for 25 years. Complaints to lawful authorities were ignored by at least 11 state, local and US taxpayer funded agencies, due to ignorance and negligent training. In several cases the human services agencies joined in the abuses portraying the victim of abuse as mentally ill, as an excuse to ignore the complaints, and to absue him further.
