NJ Focuses on Teenagers, Condones Egregious Bullying by Adults
While "outlawing childhood," the NJ Legislature remains clueless about bullying by teachers, police, prosecutors, psychiatrists and politicians. Which is more deadly?
[From editorial]
"It gets worse: Under a ludicrously broad definition of bullying, schools must tackle “any gesture or written, verbal or physical act” motivated by any “distinguishing characteristic” in another student.
We’re not sure what that means exactly, but it sounds like the Garden State just outlawed childhood.
And since schools must now address all alleged bullying on and off school grounds, anything done anywhere by anyone of school age is potentially suspect."
