If this swine flu is related to the beast that was viable in 1976, I'm avoiding innoculation. At that time, we were stationed at Ft. Knox. My ex-husband was second in command of the med lab, until the C.O. took that swine flu shot.
Col. Irons got guillen-baret disease, a rare side effect, which can paralyze. The colonel was incapacitated for almost 6 months. Servicemen can refuse vaccinations, but it's seldom worth the hassle.
I'm no longer attached to the military, either as a servicewoman or as the wife of someone.
