Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader agrees with Donald Trump and criticized the modern college culture calling it 'absurd' that students get offended easily.
In an interview with Pacific Standard, Nader, 82, said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has a point about the college culture.
He agreed that it is 'absurd,' because the 'so-called trigger-warnings' are making people too sensitive.
'You repress people, you engage in anger, and what you do is turn people into skins that are blistered by moonbeams,' he said.
'Young men now are far too sensitive because they've never been in a draft.
'They've never had a sergeant say, 'Hit the ground and do 50 push-ups and I don't care if there's mud there.'
He added that the billionaire businessman 'is extremely clever with the use of language.'
'Short sentences, no prepositional phrases, immediately understood,' Nader said in reference to Trump.
'And he is a father figure. 'Don't worry, I'll give you the jobs, take care of the terrorists.' And when he stumbles, he reverses.
'He said he didn't want higher wages, and then he reversed himself within a week, said: 'Look, I can change my mind. Don't worry. The wall. Who's going to pay for it? Mexico. I heard they might not pay for it. You know what? The wall just got 10 feet higher.' There's a certain skill in that.'
Nader also said that Trump is a 'hybrid' of a candidate. 'I call him a Rep-Dem. He's got Social Security, Medicare, he's probably got a hidden single-payer guy, because he's been around Canada, Western Europe, understands how it works, talks to business people, they don't have to pay premiums, all of that,' Nader said.

Nadar said a third party can be created if a person is a billionaire, 'because there's a huge slice of the electorate that doesn't like either party.
'A lot of them don't vote, or they vote least-worst. But they like someone who can't be bought. Sanders can't be bought,' Nadar, who had appeared as third-party candidate for president with the Green Party, explained.
'He's proven he doesn't have to go to Park Avenue for fat-cat fundraisers—and that's a great breakthrough, by the way.
'The Democrats who said for decades, 'We believe in campaign finance reform, but we're not going to unilaterally disarm'— well, he did unilaterally disarm.
'And then he was equipped with the 27-buck average people. So what Trump has done, brilliantly, is to say: 'I don't need these fat cats on Wall Street. I'm spending my own money.' And that has huge resonance.'
In the same interview, Nadar also criticized the Black Lives Matter movement and said that it's 'so sensitive to injustice' and that it won't last long because it isn't organized enough.

The case challenged a state constitutional amendment adopted in 2000 by Arizona voters which created a politically neutral commission drawing new boundaries for the state’s congressional districts every ten years. Before the amendment, the state legislature, as in many states, had been responsible for setting and adjusting district lines.

Affirming the district court’s decision, the Supreme Court also rejected the Arizona legislature’s “wooden” interpretation of the Election Clause. In doing so, the Court preserved a valuable tool used by citizens across the country to reform redistricting practices.

Efforts to adopt similar sorts of reforms are currently underway in Illinois, Ohio, and South Dakota – with Arizona and California frequently serving as models for proposed reforms.

Trump’s unconventional candidacy is a shot in the arm for ordinary Americans fed up with the predictable poll tested blather of squishy milquetoast career politicians who campaign one way and govern another. But it’s not just how Trump says it, it’s what he’s saying.
Trump has tapped into America’s great populist tradition by speaking to concerns of working class voters. He talks about fighting to bring back our factories. When was the last time a candidate talked passionately about reclaiming our manufacturing base (and knew what he was talking about)? What other candidate chooses American workers over the multinational corporations donating to their campaigns? Who other than Trump is talking about the dangerous trade deficits deindustrializing America and stealing our jobs? The old Arsenal of Democracy that allowed us to win World War II is now such a distant memory that we can’t even build the parts for our own military equipment – we need China to manufacture them for us. How can a great nation maintain its greatness without a manufacturing base? Or without secure borders for that matter?
Trump focused in on two major populist grievances: the loss of working class jobs due to awful trade agreements, and the unfair competition for those jobs – along with security threats – due to the flood of illegal immigrants pouring across unsecured borders.
Now throw in Trump’s candor about “winning” and you understand why his message catches fire. As General Patton said, “Americans play to win all the time.” But those of us outside the Beltway can see that America isn’t winning. Our enemies laugh at us. Our friends can’t rely on us. China is outpacing our military superiority. Putin thumbs his nose at us. ISIS seizes territory our sons and daughters fought and died to liberate. Iran gloats over the idiotic and ultimately catastrophic nuclear deal the White House caved on. Our friends in Israel shake their heads at our betrayal.
Trump diagnoses our problems as incompetent leadership. Who can argue with that? How many politicians promised to secure our borders? So, why aren’t they secured? How many politicians promised to grow American jobs? So, why did they vote for Obamatrade? Is it any wonder that Americans are telling status quo politicians, “You’re fired”?

It’s no surprise pundits and politicos are determined to destroy a candidacy they can’t control or shape with their mere words. Expect marginalization of anyone speaking well of Trump’s efforts. He’s a threat to the permanent political class. Non-traditional candidates always are because when they’re in touch with the people, they show their guts and just do the right thing. They go rogue — and take flak from all sides. Some of us have the scars to prove that.

Itty-bitty pundits thinking it’s clever to mock Americans’ opinions are finding the joke is on them. Cozy in their seat of judgment, blowing each other’s horns, protected by a glass screen. Ask yourself: just who ARE these windbags? And what do they build? Towers of paperclips? Lists of Twitter followers? Trump’s supporters are delightedly defying pithy prim “opinion makers” who think Americans are incapable of choosing our leaders without their dictates. The more the spotlight-seekers smear Trump, the more popular he gets. A friend emailed, “Tell those smart alecks bashing Trump on TV, ‘I love him because YOU hate him!'”

World View Gap Widens Among Americans

If people saw themselves as Americans instead of political Americans, would these findings change? Hello? How many polls are meaningless? What geniuses make up the questions? This poll conducted treating Americans as members of a collective, not as individuals. It is one more effort dividing Americans against each other assisting the KGB's main mission in America. It is not as if they need any more help. From the President down through the federal, state and local bureaucracies, Democrats are relentless dividing Americans by race, class, age, gender, sexual preference, and citizenship status. Destroying individualism and individual rights is almost complete.
