Harvard University President Travels To Washington, DC Talking Climate Change and Funding
Ex-President Derek Bok, left, and current Harvard University President Drew Gilpin Faust, share laughter.
"Universities, perhaps more than any other institution, have the remarkable power to convene individuals and institutions around issues that transcend boundaries [. . .] Faust said." More than the federal government or the United Nations? Wow!
"Specific research at Harvard, Faust said, has created sustainable innovations with implications beyond Cambridge," Why is there no lawsuit by Prof. "On Leave" Lessig, as co-plaintiff with the Department of Psychiatry or Psychology (Prof. Pinker?) compelling the sun to behave in a civil manner, in order to mitigate earthly climate change?
"Harvard granted $3.75 million to fund a project that will investigate climate change in China." US Census says US trade deficit with China through August 2015 is $237 billion. Does China need Harvard to fund this project?
