Leon Fenner was captured in Maryland on Wednesday night. He will appear later Thursday before a magistrate judge in federal court in Maryland.
Fenner was caught on surveillance camera dressed in a hat and overcoat to blend in with the Midtown crowds as he strolled into Watch Standard Jewelry on West 47th Street around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 with a black messenger bag slung over his shoulder, authorities said.
Fenner rang the bell and claimed to be delivering an item, sources said.
His alleged accomplice, Rondu Frisby, who was in the store at the time and knew the owner, buzzed him in. Frisby was arrested within a week of the heist.

Cops have arrested an accomplice in the Veterans Day heist in the Diamond District, police sources said.
Rondu Frisby was picked up at his apartment on West 147th Street in Harlem on Monday, the sources said. He regularly visits the location of the heist, Watch Standard Jewelry on West 47th Street, and sometimes did odd jobs there, the sources said.
He was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana, cops said.
Cops were grilling Frisby because he buzzed in a gunman who then robbed the jewelry shop after pretending to be a deliveryman, the sources told The Post.

The Diamond District jeweler who was robbed this week was targeted because he stiffed another gem dealer who took the rap for him after the victim got into a car crash, sources told The Post Thursday.
Daniel Mikhaylov, who has seven prior busts for driving without a license, persuaded a member of a rival Russian gem-dealing family to take the blame for the accident, sources said.
Sometime later, the 26-year-old man who agreed to the deal and a 35-year-old relative confronted Mikhaylov and demanded $20,000 for the younger man, who lost his license after taking the fall, sources said.
When Mikhaylov refused to pay up, the duo sent two goons to scare him Tuesday afternoon at his business, Watch Standard Jeweler at 23 W. 47th St., near a business that sources said is owned by one of the men.
But the thugs — who pistol-whipped Mikhaylov’s father, Boris — couldn’t resist the loot when they showed up, and allegedly made off with about $500,000 worth of Rolexes and other high-end watches, plus some $6,000 in cash.
