Hate Speech Leads to Arrests on Boston Bus

A transit police report, citing MBTA video, says Galloway and the girl were riding the Route 23 bus in Codman Square just after 4 p.m.
Dec. 6 when a man sat in Galloway’s lap. Galloway, after his arrest Tuesday, told cops the man used a homophobic slur.
On the video, police said, a different man is seen pushing a woman and the juvenile is seen holding a steak knife. Someone yelled, “There’s a knife, there’s a knife,” the bus driver told cops. He stopped in front of Dorchester District Court and opened the doors.
The passengers exited and the juvenile “twisted the bottle cap of a Pepsi bottle containing a clear colored liquid as she exited the bus with Galloway,” the report says
