Sam Seidel, Candidate of Priorities

"Apart from education and urban planning and development, Seidel says he considers the environment to be the “biggest, [most] important topic in society.” City taxpayers are fortunate to have a Councilor with his priorities. Maybe in Cambridge the environment is "the biggest, [most] important topic." But in society? Unemployement? Corruption? War? Seidel shows courage supporting education. Are there any candidates who oppose education? Elected officials support teachers unions which is remote from education. Just about everyone in the city constantly talks about urban planning. Where should we put that new building. Class?

Just Words

Cambridge City Councilor Sam "Seidel said the state government should help the banking industry [. . .] and support people who were negatively impacted by recession through basic social supports." Does that mean poor people? Obama and Congressional Democrats gave billions to fat cat bankers, while talking about poor people. Cambridge Democrats want to give more money to bankers and talk some more about poor people. The City Council made a plan to end homelessness but did little. It is all "just words" as Cadillac Deval said.
