Smart Bra Measures Effects of Exercise

This smart bra can last 10 workouts before needing a recharge and is even 'splash proof,' so there's no excuse not to work up a sweat. The OMbra is equipped with flexible sensors, which can determine when it's time to exercise a little harder, or take a breather.

Forget smart wristbands; a new wearable tech design can track fitness activity through your sports bra.
The OMbra, created by San Francisco company OMsignal, records the wearer's biometrics and streams them to an iOS device.

'It really allows you to change the level of support depending on the level of intensity of your exercise or different body shapes and sizes, and also bearing in mind that the female body actually changes quite a lot during the month,' says Elina Nurkka, Director of Smart Textile Innovation at OMsignal says in a video about the product.
'We knew that for the women's product it would be extremely critical to make sure that the tech is integrated in an extremely seamless way.'
The OMbra is thin and flexible, as though it's 'hardly there.'
