Two brothers successfully escaped from Alcatraz in 1962 and did not drown as the FBI said they did, their nephews claim in a History Channel documentary.
They gave filmmakers a photograph that they claim proves John and Clarence Anglin were living on a farm in Brazil in 1975 - and could still be alive today.
It was the most dramatic piece of evidence presented in the film, which put forward the theory that the prisoners 'body-surfed' behind a ferry leaving Alcatraz after digging out of their cells with spoons and then were picked up by a criminal associate and taken to freedom.
Ken, 54 and David Widner, 48, handed over a picture to investigators showing two men in sunglasses standing alongside a road - and a forensic expert strongly believes it is the escape

The brothers and another escapee Frank Morris used papier-mache masks to trick guards into thinking they were asleep in their beds.
They clambered through the vents, broke onto the roof of the jail and made a makeshift raft out of raincoats, which they inflated using an accordion-like concertina.
But the Widners' new evidence has captured the interest of the U.S. Marshal Service, which is still looking into the case after 53 years.
They believe the explanation as to how they made it to land is plausible and that the photo is genuine.

Marie Anglin Widner -is it proof or is it tall tell tales ??
Her clues to her brothers still living is that she says.
1.First the rumor of the family that anglin brothers
stop in middle of the night woke up mother to say hi where proof?
Now who told her this was it her parents then it wasnt rumor?
How many people did angle parents tell this story to the whole family?
Did anyone record this event by take picture of them prison garb?
2.She claims her oldest brother Robert had contact with his
brothers clarence and john for at least 25 years how did communicate,
Does marie have evidence to prove that Robert communicated brothers-
was Fred brizzi go to him not to other Anglin family instead talk or
was Robert send letters to Anglin in the foreign countries was-
did Robert children know this story too if so did they see anything ?
she says that Robert didnt tell her this til He was on his death
bed confession why would he wait so long didnt want family to know?
She is his sister they are close family -so couldnt he trust her- ?
3.Widner claim that Christmas card came 1962 in winter season.
mysteriously some how put in a mail box and that some cards came
later each christmas ,with a name didnt know but assumed it
was the anglin boys.these cards came without envelope -date -and
-stamp so how did they know it was to the anglin not to someoneelse?
Then some other cards came signed with the anglin boys?
4.Widner says that lots of people have seen anglin in brazil.but
The Widner only name Fred Brizzi not any other persons name?
They have Brizzi recorded on cheap audio recorder not seen pic.
They took Brizzi picture not look camera he look at marie .
They claim that Brizzi told them in 1990s but his hair is long dark
brown in 70s hair style and audio recorder is 1970s model.
if it was truely in 1990s as the widner say , then tell me this ,
why didnt Widner buy Dvd video cam corder to record event?
5. The nephew Widner says i am not do this for fame/money ?
Since he said it does it mean he dont want the money /fame?
The widner want their Uncle found to be buried in family plot ?
So is this their way of saying that the Uncles are dead someplace?
that they want U.S to bring them back for them free of charge?
