Sheriff Sounded Morose

Mr. Carr missed the signs during the interview on his radio show. DiPaola sounded very worried. There was the sound of death in his voice. Listen to the tapes. The sheriff shows no emotions. There were no signs of relief. It was the sounds of worry. If you listened to that interview carefully you knew he was worried about something serious beyond the pension issue. Middlesex County, which includes the Politicians' Mendacious Republic of Cambridge was dissolved due to pervasive corruption. The employees now work for the state. It did not eliminate corruption. It just moved it up a notch. 50 years of disinfectant will help a little. But as currently constituted state and US agencies in MA are staffed by corrupt humans. The few honest officials are a weak silent minority. No hope here.
