Misguided Priorities

The priorities of journalists is mind-boggling. (Margery Eagan, "It’s time to fix this aging problem," Boston Herald, June 4, 2009) How many deaths are caused by driving mishaps by aged drivers? How do the figures compare with the 90,000 civilians who die each year due to medical negligence, some as intellectually challenging as failing to wash one's hands? Focusing on vulnerable people namely elders shows bias of the bully journalists. Why do journalists fear the medical profession? Are journalists as spineless as politicians?
