Hiroshima Bomb Decried Again

Using the A-bomb to save lives was an unquestioned decision. Japan refused to surrender after three hundred, then five hundred B-29 bombers left devastation and death. Okinawa fighting without an A-bomb, left 48,000 US deaths and injuries, 110,000 Japanese and 150,000 civilians dead. Invading Japan was estimated to cost 220,000 to one million American lives. Aug 6th Hiroshima. Aug 10th Nagasaki, when Japanese military were meeting, refusing to end the war, wanting to lure American troops onto their mainland. Aug 11th the emperor decided to surrender unconditionally. Aug 14th Japan formally surrendered. From David McCullough, Truman. It was a decision to sacrifice fewer people. Easy to object in 2016 to that decision. Seen any pictures of women abused by Islamic State?

Almost No End To World War II

[From article]
Though the majority of Japan’s remaining armed forces did indeed suspend combat operations on August 15, two key naval aviation units just south of Tokyo did not.
[. . .]
The firebrand commander of the 302nd, Captain Yasuna Kozono, was steeped in bushido and opposed the surrender with every fiber of his being. He had infused his men with the same never-surrender, death-before-dishonor ethos, and in the days immediately following the emperor’s announcement Kozono—feverish with a malarial relapse as well as burning with the humiliation of impending surrender—ordered his pilots to attack any Allied aircraft that dared to violate the nation’s sacred airspace.
[. . .]
MacArthur needed to know whether the attack was a random act by rogue elements or, more ominously, an indication that the Japanese might be wavering in their commitment to surrender. He therefore ordered four more B-32s back over Tokyo on August 18, though two of the aircraft turned back with mechanical problems. The pair of Dominators that reached Tokyo ran into a hornet’s nest. Repeated attacks by fighters from Atsugi and Yokosuka damaged both bombers, in the process severely wounding aerial photographer Staff Sgt. Joseph Lacharite and killing his assistant, Tony Marchione.
old of Marchione’s death and Lacharite’s wounding, MacArthur had to make a momentous decision: If he believed the Japanese pilots were acting on orders of their government, the logical response would be to renew the aerial assault on Japan—with all the dire consequences that would entail. But MacArthur, to his credit, chose to wait.

How the End of World War II Almost Didn’t Happen
When Emperor Hirohito surrendered on August 15, most thought the war was over. It almost wasn’t

Iranian Cult Government and World War Two Axis Powers

[From article]
Even as negotiations with the Japanese proceeded, the Japanese had no intention of rapprochement and had actually been planning the assault on Pearl Harbor for many months before.
Worse, the American intelligence community was divided in their assessment of Japanese intentions and had not a clue about its cultist discipline. They were monstrously naive about the power of cult psychology and, unfortunately, they still are. Iran is run by death cult adherents operating under the guise of religion with all power, despite all the outward signs of alleged diversity, vested in one man.
Japan at that time was also being manipulated by cultists enmeshed in the doctrines of State Shinto, based on a degraded interpretation of the samurai Bushido code. They later initiated the suicide bomber pilot program, finding recruits eager to kill themselves for the emperor by smashing their planes into American ships. If that isn’t death cult conduct, then I’d like to know what is.
At the time of Pearl Harbor, Adolf Hitler, a charismatic and ruthless megalomaniac, had turned the Nazi Party into a brutal master race entitlement cult determined to make “Deutschland Uber Alles” a reality. Indeed, by then the Nazis had brainwashed the German people into the fanatic belief that they were going to fulfill that destiny in a thousand-year Reich, and Hitler had demonstrated his military prowess designed to reach that goal. He held total sway over the Germans, not unlike Ayatollah Khamenei and his cult followers in their control
[. . .]
The comparison with Pearl Harbor may seem farfetched and hysterical to some, but as 9/11 has illustrated, a cult in which adherents have no fear of death is a weapon of enormous power.

Not Hirohito

http://www.freedomdocuments.com/fithian.html

The Foreign Minister, Mamoru Shigemitsu, signed the Allied Copy of the Instrument of Surrender in a standing position. It was not Emperor Hirohito as Obama said. This joins his 57 states and other errors of speech.
