Cambridge, MA Educator Wants To Defund Nuclear Defense, To Fund Snow Plows and Transit

[Official name of this city agency is Nuclear War and Peace Commission]

Has the Cambridge Nuclear War and Peace Commission lost its way after preventing nuclear war in Cambridge for many years? Lennie Bruce recognized the importance of job security. Without a threat of nuclear war the commission may be out of business. I know it makes high school bullies its new focus, but what if someone noticed? $113 billion locally, and $29 billion in US taxpayer funds is spent feeding, housing and clothing illegal immigrants each year, over $4 trillion (versus $1 T for defense) over 30 years. Does not include refugees from oppressive nations, who sometimes take up arms and bombs with America hating illegal immigrants, to destroy the peace and tranquility of the society. Who needs taxpayer funds for defense when new immigrants will protect American freedom?

Obama's Policies Lead to Large War

[From article]
"Four years of Jimmy Carter's incompetent economic strategy, blissfully naive foreign policy and devastating reductions in our intelligence services and armed forces produced disasters on a global scale. By the time Carter departed from his one term in office, we had witnessed more than a dozen anti-American revolutions, the collapse of six governments friendly to the U.S., rampant Soviet expansionism, the rise of violent radical Islam and scores of U.S. diplomats and citizens murdered and held hostage."

Europe Relies on US for Defense

"Europe's free defense ride -- thanks to the rock-solid US security guarantee within the NATO alliance -- has been a problem for decades. Taking the US protective umbrella for granted, the continent has raided defense budgets to cover its ever-growing welfare bills.[. . .]
some of the caveats we know about:

* German troops are restricted to conducting operations in northern Afghanistan before nighttime and never more than two hours away from a well-equipped hospital.

* Turkish troops are restricted to Kabul.

* Troops from most southern European nations are barred from fighting in snow.

* One country prohibits troops from other nations from flying in its aircraft."
