Harvard University was founded in the 17th Century as a training school for protestant ministers. 375 years later the President and Fellows of Harvard College run shuttle buses for students, faculty and staff traveling between campus buildings especially at night for safety in the urban environment Cambridge MA has become. It is a wise use of the substantial resources of the university corporation. It is apparent that the focus of the university changed from religion to secular activities. Harvard, with its $32 billion endowment, is best known in the 21st Century for training spin doctors, lawyers, and business titans. Harvard boasts of having 43 members of the current US Congress.
