MA Politicians Love Spending Other People's Money, Dislike Paying Taxes
[From article]
Since the story about her deadbeat status broke last week, L’Italien has been blaming the lien on “larger than usual deductions based on a personal family medical situation, which resulted in a dispute, and (she) is confident that when the dispute is resolved her family will be refunded in full.”
In the meantime, she somehow found the money to remove the liens — once the story hit the papers.
She immediately accused her GOP opponent of having liens on his property. It was not true. I asked Vispoli if she’d apologized for spreading false rumors.
“No apology,” he said. “It’s a question of judgment. Voters deserve a senator who’s going to be honest.”
But pointing out the truth about her, apparently, is “gutter politics.” Or so L’Italien says.
