Detroit Police Sergeant Stole Watch From Dead Man

At least he replaced the one he took.

A Detroit sergeant has been suspended after he took an expensive watch from a murder victim and replaced it with a less expensive version.
According to Police Chief James Craig, Sgt. Alex Vinson was in charge of a case earlier this year involving a murder victim, who's body was found wearing an expensive German-made watch.
Craig said police took a picture of the watch and stored it in a property room for homicide victims.
Detectives wanted to take a closer look at the watch this week after the case had gone cold, but when they took out the victim's items, the watch had been replaced with a cheaper model, according to Craig.
