Texas Gentleman Charged With Capital Murder Of Policeman

Deputy Darren H. Goforth, 47

[From article]
Authorities have a man in custody who is "believed to be the alleged gunman" in the killing of a uniformed sheriff's deputy, Sgt. William Kennard of the Texas Department of Public Safety told CNN.
[Original story published at 7:51 a.m.]
A man shot a uniformed sheriff's deputy "execution-style" while he fueled his patrol car in the Houston area, killing him instantly, authorities said.
Deputy Darren H. Goforth, 47, was returning to his car after pumping gas Friday night.
The gunman walked up from behind him and opened fire for no apparent reason, Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said.
When Goforth fell to the ground, the gunman stood over him and shot him some more, authorities said. He died at the scene.

Goforth was a married father of two.

Shannon J. Miles, 31, of the nearby town of Copperfield, will face capitol murder charges in the “senseless and cowardly act,” Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman told reporters after the arrest Saturday.
Miles’ rap sheet includes charges of resisting arrest, trespass and “disorderly conduct with a firearm,” Hickman said.
“We have not been able to extract any details regarding a motive,” Hickman said of Friday’s killing of Deputy Darren Goforth, a 10-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office.
“As far as we know, Deputy Goforth had no prior contact with the suspect,” and the shooting was “unprovoked,” Hickman said.

Donald Trump Goes To Nashville, Chasing Taylor Swift?

[From article]
"I love the tea party!" he told the crowd during a meandering, hourlong speech at a Christian music venue and skateboard park, making the case that they hadn't been treated fairly.
"The tea party people are incredible people. These are people that work hard and they love the country and then they get just beat up all the time by the media," he added. "You don't know the power that you have."
The event came the day after Trump held a glitzy $100-per-person campaign event — which he repeatedly insisted wasn't a fundraiser — outside of Boston.
Trump said the money raised was only to offset the costs of the event and said people attending could choose to pay whatever they wanted.
But multiple signs posted at the property's entrance and along a staffed check-in table told those arriving to "Please have cash ready or make checks payable to: Donald J. Trump for President, Inc." Another read, "Entry Fee $100 Per Person."
On Saturday, Trump expressed frustration that coverage of Friday's event focused on the discrepancy.
"I got so angry at my people because somebody put up a sign saying $100," he said.

Boston Gun Violence Leaves One Dead, Four Injured

[From article]
"My officers took six guns off the street last night - six guns in one night. But despite their best efforts, we still had 5 people shot in 3 separate incidents with one person now dead. It's unacceptable," Superintendent in Chief William Gross said. "The night leading up to J'ouvert and the Caribbean Festival always proves to be one of the most violent of the year."
Between 1:53 a.m. and 2:42 a.m., five people were shot in what appears to be gang-related incidents, police said.

Pit And The Pendulum May Boost Donald Trump's Campaign

Few journalists note that Bernie Sanders is from Brooklyn, NY. Donald Trump is from Queens, NY. What an exciting campaign if they are the two candidates. Brooklyn against Queens. One voter displayed a Bernie for President sign in Somerville MA near Tufts University on Monday August 31, 2015.

[From article]
I call it the Pendulum Factor.
It reflects the fact that the legacy of each president includes the political climate he leaves behind. In plain English, Barack Obama’s most important failures as a leader begat Donald Trump’s success.
A favorable legacy among voters generally means the public wants more of the same in the next president. The clearest example is that Vice President George H.W. Bush succeeded Ronald Reagan in 1988, an election widely regarded as Reagan’s third term.
On the other hand, George W. Bush narrowly defeated Vice President Al Gore in 2000, a disputed election that was nonetheless seen as a repudiation of the scandal-scarred Bill Clinton era.
The pendulum swung back again when Obama followed Bush, who left office with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan unsettled and the economy cratering and jobs vanishing.
With Obama’s poll numbers underwater, the country wants change again. And Trump is the ultimate Un-Obama candidate, especially in style and attitude.

Washington State University Bans Speech, Threatens Punishment

As a state university these guidelines, with punishments threatened, violate the First Amendment. It also indicates black racist rhetoric promoted by the White House and his previous Attorney General. They have this paranoid thought pattern that only black people suffer. All white people are wealthy and powerful and all black people are poor. Does that include the current White House and its hundreds if not thousands of six figured salaried bureaucrats? The hundreds of multi millionaire black athletes and celebrities and drug dealers? Hello. Why are these racist professors allowed to spew their offensive hatred and get paid with taxpayer funds? And the clueless journalists do not know the motive for young black thugs shooting policemen and innocent white people? Ahem!

[From article]
Multiple professors at Washington State University have explicitly told students their grades will suffer if they use terms such as “illegal alien,” "male," and “female,” or if they fail to “defer” to non-white students.
According to the syllabus for Selena Lester Breikss’ “Women & Popular Culture” class, students risk a failing grade if they use any common descriptors that Breikss considers “oppressive and hateful language.”
The punishment for repeatedly using the banned words, Breikss warns, includes “but [is] not limited to removal from the class without attendance or participation points, failure of the assignment, and— in extreme cases— failure for the semester.”
[. . .]
our society has come to associate ALL unauthorized border crossings with those immigrants originating from countries south of our border (and not with Asian immigrants, for example, many of whom are also in the country without legal documents and make up a considerable portion of undocumented immigrants living in the country).”
“The socio-legal production of migrant illegality works to systematically dehumanize and exploit these brown bodies for their labor,” Fowler continued.
[. . .]
Streamas—who previously generated controversy by calling a student a “ white shitbag” and declared that WSU should stand for “White Supremacist University”—also demands that students “understand and consider the rage of people who are victims of systematic injustice.”
Later in the syllabus, Streamas goes even further and accuses Glenn Beck of being an “insensitive white.”

Ex-NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly's New Book Criticizes Mayor DeBlasio

Ex-Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says Mayor Bill de Blasio "ran against the police" during his mayoral campaign.
Photo: David McGlynn (left), AP

[From article]
De Blasio swept away stop-and-frisk — a policy police brass instituted in 1990 to let cops search and detain anyone they suspected of committing a crime — as a sop to his core supporters as soon as he took over in City Hall, Kelly says in a scathing critique of the mayor’s law-enforcement policies.
“And who benefited most from our successes?” Kelly writes. “The very people the de Blasio campaign were reportedly speaking for, young minority males especially.”
Kelly chided Manhattan federal Judge Shira Scheindlin for helping de Blasio win the primary thanks to her “disturbing, highly offensive” decision describing stop-and-frisk as unconstitutional and calling for reforms.
“What really burned me up though, one of many things, from a tiny number of incidents, cherry-picked from millions, Judge Scheindlin had pinned the whole police department as a racist institution,” he writes.
He calls the decision “bad science, bad judgement, bad policy, and on a human level personally wrong.”
“This was a product of a transparently cynical collaboration among an agenda-driven academic, a crafty plaintiff’s attorney and a judge who already made up her mind.”
Kelly saved his harshest criticism for de Blasio’s campaign rhetoric.
He excoriated de Blasio for treating cops as “cartoonish villains” and using that rhetoric to eke out a victory with a “narrow slice” of voters.
“I personally resent the implications of de Blasio’s false narrative,” he writes. “I knew the truth — that our policies targeted reported crimes. We didn’t target people based on their skin color.”
“Bill de Blasio didn’t only run against the only candidates in the race to replace Mike Bloomberg,” Kelly adds. “He also ran against the police.”
[. . .]

The ex-commissioner’s book calls for police departments across the country to recruit more officers of color and wean themselves off surplus military weapons.
And he chastised the Ferguson, Mo., police department for mishandling its investigation into Officer Darren Wilson’s shooting of Michael Brown, even though Wilson was cleared of any misconduct.
“They failed to release information in a timely fashion, they had far too many talking to the media, delivering confusing, conflicting reports,” he writes.
And when cops left Brown’s body in the street for hours, they “contributed to the rush to judgment against Darren Wilson,” Kelly says.
But he blasted pols who tolerate lax enforcement of the law.
“If we ease up on the things that made us successful, if we bow too much to the political pressures of the day, we are going to see more young people die and more young lives lost before they have had a chance to live,” Kelly writes.

Influential Woman Hollywood Agent, New Book

From left: Christopher Walken, Sue Mengers, Paul Newman and David Brown
Photo: Wire Image

[From article]
This, from the new biography “Can I Go Now? The Life of Sue Mengers, Hollywood’s First Superagent” (Viking) by Brian Kellow, is a perfect encapsulation of Mengers, one of the most powerful agents in Tinseltown history.
Mengers was the first woman to amass the sort of power she did, representing Barbra Streisand, Gene Hackman, Michael Caine, Candice Bergen, Ryan O’Neal, Mike Nichols and so many more. But Mengers, as this insightful, often hilarious and celebrity-filled book relates, was a mass of contradictions.
Despite refusing to subordinate herself to Hollywood’s male power structure, she was staunchly anti-feminist, believing that supporting the male ego was a woman’s duty, and that wives should not be upset when their husbands cheated.
[. . .]
A chain smoker of cigarettes and marijuana even on her deathbed in 2011, Mengers was the ultimate no-filter gal who believed that if you weren’t a winner, you were a loser. She was rude, crude and often cruel to friends and clients, yet won their (mostly) everlasting love with her loyalty and wit.
[. . .]
Previously, his father, Dominick Dunne, had blamed the end of his producing career on comments he made about Mengers’ husband.
When Dunne picked up the phone, Mengers said, “Griffin, honey, it’s Sue. How are you? Listen — is your father dead yet?”
Thinking she was joking, Dunne laughed and said no, but was then subjected to a tirade, with Mengers screaming, “I wish he was dead. I hate that f- -king a- -hole. I want him dead.”
Once Mengers completed her rant, her voice grew calm, and she said, “Anyway, enough of that. Griffin, I’m serving chili at the house tonight. Warren Beatty’s going to be here, and Lauren Hutton’s in town. Why don’t you come on over?”

God's Plan For Aging

God's plan for aging

Most seniors never get enough exercise. In His wisdom God decreed that
seniors become forgetful so they would have to search for their
glasses, keys and other things thus doing more walking. And God looked
down and saw that it was good.

Then God saw there was another need. In His wisdom He made seniors
lose coordination so they would drop things requiring them to bend,
reach & stretch. And God looked down and saw that it was good.

Then God considered the function of bladders and decided seniors would
have additional calls of nature requiring more trips to the bathroom,
thus providing more exercise. God looked down and saw that it was

So if you find as you age, you are getting up and down more, remember
it’s God’s will. It is all in your best interest even though you
mutter under your breath.

Nine Important Facts To Remember As We Grow Older

#9 Death is the number 1 killer in the world.
#8 Life is sexually transmitted.
#7 Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
#6 Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky panky, and they can't tell
them apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.
#5 Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to
use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe
#4 Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the
hospital, dying of nothing.
#3 All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no
attention to criticism.
#2 In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the
world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.
#1 Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers. What you do today may be a

Don't ignore this message. This is your only warning.

Tribute To Donald Trump

[From article]
I wrote a book titled “The Murder of the Middle Class” about the unholy conspiracy between big government, big business and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it’s in all of their interests to protect one another. It’s one for all and all for one.
[. . .]
Never in all my years in politics have I seen anything like the way the mad dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump.
When white supremacist David Dukes ran for governor of Louisiana, even he wasn’t treated with this kind of outrage, vitriol and disrespect. When a known fraud, scam artist and tax cheat like Al Sharpton ran for president, I never saw anything remotely close to this. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened like never before.
[. . .]
These run-of-the-mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money. But there’s one man — and only one man — who isn’t beholden to anyone. There’s one man who doesn’t need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teachers union, or the Service Employees International Union, or the bar association to fund his campaign.
Billionaire tycoon and maverick Donald Trump doesn’t need anyone’s help.
[. . .]
Don’t you ever wonder why the GOP has never tried to impeach Obama? Don’t you wonder why John Boehner and Mitch McConnell talk a big game, but never actually try to stop Obama? Don’t you wonder why Congress holds the purse strings, yet has never tried to defund Obamacare or Obama’s clearly illegal executive action on amnesty for illegal aliens?
It’s a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich — everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We’re the patsies.
[. . .]
Well, first, I’d guess many key Republicans are being bribed. Secondly, I believe many key Republicans are being blackmailed. Whether they are having affairs, or secretly gay, or stealing taxpayer money, the National Security Agency knows everything.
[. . .]
Holder could wind up in prison. Jarrett could wind up in prison. Obamabundler Corzine could wind up in prison for losing $1.5 billion of customer money.
Clinton could wind up in jail for deleting 32,000 emails, or for acceptingbribes from foreign governments while secretary of state, or for“misplacing” $6 billion as the head of the State Department, or for lyingabout Benghazi.
The entire upper level management of the IRS could wind up in prison.

Trading Cambridge MA Trees For Parking Cars, Medical Marijuana?

City of Cambridge, under direction of the committee for a new library, with oversight from the City Council and City Manager decided it was necessary for the new library to provide an underground parking garage. Unlike the Boston Public Library, the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Public Library all of which do not provide parking, Cambridge had to have it. One result is that this huge tree growing in Joan Lorenz Park for many years suddenly lost its root system and was dying. Here are some of my images of the tree which is no longer on the lawn in front of the new main library.

This is the opening to get to the parking garage in case of emergency. It was why the tree was removed. No need for trees when you have enough parking spaces. More Cambridge City Council policy with contradictory and counterproductive effects in the name of good. Always in the name of good, and diversity. Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Better there should be violence than to hurt anyone's feelings. I mean, like, what if someone wanted to use the library but was offended if they had to walk to the library or take a bus or a taxi. Or like, I mean, like, you know, if they had to park on the street. How icky. I mean, you know, how hateful can you be?

Will this new lawn space be used to grow medical marijuana? That way you know, like, I mean, people who need it will not have to go far. They can park in the library garage and get some quickly, without waiting for the dispensaries to open. Like, how awesome is that? Thanks City Council.

Almost 200 Generals Oppose Iran Deal; 35 Support It

[From article]
President Obama last week trumpeted that he was able to find 36 retired flag officers who supported his agreement to "give diplomacy a chance." The media explained away this paltry number of signers by saying that "retired brass avoid firm positions on Iranian nuke deal."
Four to five volunteers from around the country in less than a week got 190 generals and admirals to sign a letter that urges Congress to reject the JCPOA because "this agreement will enable Iran to become far more dangerous, render the Mideast still more unstable and introduce new threats to American interests as well as our allies."
[. . .]
And the opposition is not limited to these 190. The names keep pouring in, asking,

Bodies From Holocaust Still Being Identified In Eastern Europe

[From article]
Desbois, a forensic anthropologist, published Holocaust by Bullets, on the Nazi mobile units that killed the Jewish population of small villages. Over the last decade he has been concerned with identifying and locating mass graves of Jews killed during the Holocaust in Eastern Europe. Through careful research in Russia, Germany, and Washington, D.C., and by inspections of villages across the Ukraine and Eastern Europe and interviews with residents, Father Desbois and his team of Yahad-in-Unum have uncovered 2,000 mass killing sites in the continent of extermination.
Unlike Natalie Portman and like-minded persons, Desbois wants to make the world more, not less, aware of the assassinations of Jews. He asserts that some of the facts of the genocide have not been declared. He estimates that more than 1.5 million, more than the usually quoted figure, of victims were buried in the graves he found in Ukraine. He is anxious to locate all the sites – there may be more than 6,000 other sites to be uncovered – before all the witnesses, who only recently were ending their vow of silence about the atrocities, have died. Thus, history will not die with the witnesses. Desbois is aware that otherwise, the Holocaust deniers will overreact, as they have always done, and proclaim that Jews have falsified the story.
[. . .]
The sickening photographs and script made public in August 2015 reveal in horrifying detail the humiliation, public beatings in the street, whippings, and individual murder of perhaps as many as 1.6 million Jews who were summarily shot and buried in graves nearby. Often Jews were forced to dig pits and to strip naked before being killed, or were buried alive. Jews were killed for fun, or because of boredom, anger, or drunkenness, or to rape the girls. The perpetrators ransacked the clothes of the victims for cash and valuables.
[. . .]
Jews are still being assaulted in Kiev; Jewish synagogues, monuments, and cemeteries are still being desecrated. Anti-Semitic pamphlets are being distributed. Ukrainian nationalists still express anti-Semitic sentiments.

Scrutinizing The Immigration Debate

[From article]
The Refugee Crisis™ debate is framed as a battle between compassionate liberals responding to desperate pleas and coin-counting, callous, conservative reactionaries. But charitable motives animate the Left little, if at all. Liberals are notoriously tightfisted with (their own) charitable dollars; even more to the point, when a shipload of Jews fleeing Nazi persecution wanted safe haven in the US, leftist icon FDR turned it away. It’s one of those curious coincidences in history that the Left’s attitude toward refugees changed precisely when leftists discovered they could import voters who would empower them.
And does attaching something as a rider — citizenship — to charity aid the cause of charity? Are people more or less likely to offer charity to a person if the act begins and ends with charity, or if they must grant the individual some decision-making power in their home as well? That’s a package deal only a masochist could love.
So there’s an easy way to uncover liberals’ true motivations and whether they’re serious about charity for refugees. Make a simple offer: you’ll give bona fide refugees safe haven, and you’ll do your best to ensure they’re treated well. But there’s no citizenship. Ever. And they’ll be expected to eventually return to their homelands. See if the leftists bite…anything but your extended hand.
[. . .]

On the one hand, liberals sometimes point out that despite doom-and-gloom prognostication, we live in the most “peaceful era in human history.” And they cite statistics backing up the assertion. On the other, they claim we must suddenly accommodate endless troves of “refugees” fleeing persecution.
[. . .]
We’re told that prosperous countries have a moral responsibility to the world’s poorer nations. So why then are wealthy Asian Tigers never asked to absorb any “refugees”? Japan, in fact, has virtually no immigration whatsoever despite having an extremely low birthrate and shrinking population. Moreover, since many refugees are Muslim, why aren’t Saudi Arabia, Qatar, The United Arab Emirates and the other oil-rich Arab nations taking them in? Wouldn’t it seem a natural fit? (Then they could stop importing the Filipinos and others they use for domestic help.) Maybe they know something we don’t.
[. . .]

There undoubtedly are people in this world facing serious persecution. As to this, the West in general and the Obama administration in particular have done nothing to aid, for instance, the Christians being slaughtered in Muslim lands.

RFK Jr. Offered Journalist $12K To Clean Up His Cousin's Reputation

Kennedy Cousin Michael Skakel, left; convicted of killing his neighbor Martha Moxley, center; Robert Kennedy Jr., right.

Journo Ken Silverstein writes in the New York Observer that he just turned down a $12,500-a-month gig to help Kennedy “whitewash” Skakel’s past by doing “research for a book [Kennedy Jr. is] writing to clear [Skakel] of the 1975 murder of his then-girlfriend [Moxley].”
Silverstein writes, “I really could use the money at the moment, but there’s just one problem: Skakel is obviously guilty. I turned the offer down because some people will do anything for money, but I won’t.”
Kennedy’s offer, according to an Observer opinion piece by Silverstein posted on Wednesday, was made through “David Talbot, founder of Website Salon (who last year offered me a book contract).” But Silverstein now says, “I believe that’s the last I’ll hear from Mr. Talbot about possible future book deals.”

Is It Likely Congress Will Stop Destructive Iranian Nuclear Weapons Deal? All Votes For Sale?

[From article]
Frontpage Magazine has published a bombshell report that has been met with total silence by the media. Daniel Greenfield’s piece is entitled “Traitor Senators Took Money from Iran Lobby, Back Iran Nukes.”
Our politicians bought by Iran include not just a list of senators and congressmen about to vote on the Iran deal. Recipients of Iran’s largess for their campaigns include President Obama, Joe Biden, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton.
[. . .]
Iranian-American activists against the mullahs’ regime in Iran correctly described IAPAC as a "lobby group for a terrorist regime.
[. . .]
President Obama himself accepted $50,000 from one of the Iran Lobby founders.
[. . .]
Point of interest: the Israel Lobby, AIPAC, does not make direct campaign contributions.
Some on Greenfield’s list of traitors are no surprise. Senator Markey got the maximum campaign contribution from the Iranians and has announced his support for the Iran deal. So did Al Franken. Senator Jeanne Shaheen did it for half price.

Iranians are buying Democrat Congress (they already bought Kerry, Clinton, and Biden)
By Karin McQuillan
* * *

[From article]
Obama will get his veto-proof vote. He will be allowed to capitulate to Iran, with $120 billion thrown in for them to splurge on terror to their heart’s content. We will allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons and purchase ICBM missiles that can reach America. We will give birth to a Shi’ite-Sunni nuclear arms race. We will sow this whirlwind and live with the consequence for years. Because Democrats in Congress will give Obama their votes.
I understand Obama very well – he is a leftist hater who wants America (and Israel) punished and whittled down to size. But almost half our nation are Democrats. Not every Democrat in Congress is as radical as Obama. Few of them share his personal history and characterological problems. Why aren’t they standing up to him?
[. . .]
They lived through Obamacare and saw how Obama survived the citizens’ wrath just fine, while Democrats throughout the country saw themselves booted out of office, from State House to the Governor’s office to Congress. Yet they are willing to jump off the cliff for Obama again. What is going on? Is it just desperation to keep blacks voting as a block for Democrats? Are they being bought off by Obama and the Iranians?
[. . .]
The entire Democratic Party from top to bottom is made of niche interest groups who are bought off by having their narrow self-interest promoted above the interests of the country. The feminists get abortion without limit at the price of infanticide. The gays get gay marriage at the price of religious freedom. The teacher unions get lifetime job security at the price of lousy schools. The government bureaucrats get outsize salary/benefit/pension packages at the price of bankrupting the country. The race hustlers get the President fomenting racial hatred, at the price of people’s lives. Those dependent on the government teat get more and more stuff and a blind eye to fraud, while the economy sinks under our debt. The environmentalists and Silicon Valley get subsidies for green energy and EPA attacks on our energy industry, at the price of energy security and blue collar jobs. The Hispanic activists get illegal immigration, at the cost of good salaries and jobs for citizens. Hollywood and liberal Jews and academia get entry to the jobs and cocktail parties controlled by punitive, blacklisting, fellow liberals. And they all get to feel superior and sanctimonious at the same time by libeling conservatives as uncaring, racist, morons.
[. . .]
Each Democrat voting block cares only about themselves. That is the essence of the Democratic Party.
No wonder Democrats easy to buy off on Iran. Not one part of the Democrat voting bloc cares about national security, stability in the Middle East, Israel, or the dangers of a Sunni-Shite arms race. For most of them patriotism is so passé, so flyover country. They only care about getting their own perks. They are dreamers who believe their own B.S. about how beautiful the world will be once America stops being aggressive. So why should their representatives in Congress care about Obama’s insane handing over of the Middle East to Iran?
[. . .]
We can’t wait for Democrats to step up and stop the Iran Deal. They don’t care enough about America to do it. We can’t wait for our Republican politicians – as they did with Obamacare, they console themselves the world will go up in flames and tens or hundreds of thousands die, but Democrats will be punished at the polls next November. That is not good enough.
Tragically, the public is asleep as an Iranian nightmare is being loosed upon the world by our own fellow citizens and politicians.
[. . .]
Sen. Ted Cruz has invited Donald Trump to Washington next month for a rally against the Iran nuclear deal.
The two Republican rivals are set to appear at an event organized by the Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Politics, and the Zionist Organization of America, according to the Cruz campaign.

Shameful the women's movement/lobby is only for liberal elitists. Not only Alison Parker, and Kathryn Steinle are unimportant to them. They ignore Carly Fiorina. They ignore Pamela Geller, a courageous woman who stands up for free speech against terrorists, enduring daily death threats with no comment from liberal women. One group of women in Cambridge, MA told me Sarah Palin is not a woman. It shows how undeveloped their propaganda-filled minds are.

Carly Fiorina

[From article]
They were afraid. Even before her announcement, Carly was already Hillary Clinton’s most effective critic. And as the CEO of a global company, then the original Chair of the Central Intelligence Agency’s External Advisory Board, she has the executive experience and foreign affairs credentials to be President. Even more terrifying to Democrats: Because she is a conservative, Washington outsider with charisma and stellar communications skills, she has the ability not only to excite the Republican base but also to expand it.
[. . .]
Many of these hit pieces focused on Carly’s decision to merge Hewlett-Packard with Compaq, but they omit important facts.
[. . .]
Carly's critics also fail to admit that many industry insiders agree now, looking through the lens of history, that Carly was right and the merger was a success.
In fact, former HP Board Member and famed venture capitalist Tom Perkins, who supported the move to fire Carly, ultimately saw that she was a visionary saying, “The merger was a brilliant move. Look where HP is now: The biggest computer company in the world.”
[. . .]
And yes, Carly was fired. But what is never mentioned by liberals and their mouthpieces is the fact that after Carly left, the HP Board was investigated by The Department of Justice, the SEC, the State of California, and the United States Congress. As a result, the Chairman of the Board and another Board Member were forced to resign because of criminal misconduct by their agents against Carly, members of the media, and others.
Our country is looking for a president who won’t go-along-to-get-along with the Beltway crowd and who will make the tough decisions to grow our economy. Carly Fiorina’s time at Hewlett-Packard demonstrates that she will do both.

The Left Always Tells Us Whom They Fear: Carly Fiorina
By Kieran Lalor
* * *

[From article]
Friends and family are describing Alison Parker, who was killed yesterday by a "gay" black man named Vester Flanagan, as overjoyed to be living her dream. Kate Steinle and Alison Parker were not killed by guns. They were killed by goaded men.
When Donald Trump asked Jorge Ramos if he would deport the worst, murderous illegals, Ramos was mute. Among Ramos, La Raza, and the pro-invasion left, the message is sent that illegals are entitled to steal the happiness they see in America. They don't have to earn it; they don't have to wait in line; just rip it off. When venerated leaders like Ramos tell jealous and uneducated people they have the right to steal, can the right to rape and murder be far behind?
[. . .]
There are innumerable instances of heightened concern for black and homosexual crime victims and indifference, sometimes seemingly intentionally callous, for the families of white Americans and Christians who are killed. If a non-white person murders a white, as in these two deaths, the only response of the Obama administration pertains to gun control.
[. . .]
Throughout his life, Vester Flanagan was used by the left, who told him he was a victim because of his race and sexuality.
[. . .]
Of course his misguided mind turned against white people who succeeded where he had failed.
Nor will the feminists who are leftist first and foremost express outrage over the lives of two beautiful young women snuffed out because those women were happy.

Cambridge MA Politicians and Journalists Speak For Others

In this interview, media darling (regularly cited in local papers and on public television), and City Councilor Nadeem Mazem, indicates he suffers from a common syndrome of Cambridge politicians. He says, " everyone knows it [minimum wage] should be $15 an hour." Really? Everyone? How does he know that? He adds, "everyone [in the Boston area] secretly feels in their gut that this just isn’t going to happen," Again. How does he know what people feel? Especially if it is a secret? He's not the only one who speaks for others, with or without their permission. In a recent interview published in the Cambridge Chronicle, City Councilor Carlone does the same thing. See at this link.

They are not the only ones. Former City Councilor Jim Braude used to do the same thing when he was a councilor. He also did it on his radio show. I asked in a phone call why he did that. It did not stop him. He continues to speak for others. Now he does a local PBS television show and continues the tradition. He added an upgrade. He has three guests for a seven minute segment. That allows for the four of them including the host less than two minutes each to discuss complex issues. In order to extend the time he asks a question of his guests and then cuts them off saying, "I got it." Meaning he is so smart he knows what the guest is going to say. Can he read minds? Is that why he speaks for others? Can the other city councilors also read minds?

Returning to this interview, Councilor Mazem refers to "high value construction that buoys our economy and empowers our local government to do incredible things for education." If that's true why are the educational results of all that money so disappointing? He adds, "we have academic powerhouses, we have everything we need to empower the upper middle class and above." He does not mention teachers unions and other government unions. Public policy is hindered by these unions and none of the politicians speak about them except to boast that they negotiated with the unions for the city. Why is that? Do politicians fear criticizing unions?

Those academic powerhouses are focused properly on educating their students and doing research. What does public school education have to do with that? Is academic excellence of the universities supposed to rub off on the city's students?  He suggests a problem without discussing it when he says, "we also have 45 percent of our public school kids on free and reduced lunch, which means that their parents are living around the poverty line." Oh? Cambridge has a large high income population. Why are so many of their children attending private schools? Is there a problem unmentioned with the city's public schools?

Showing off his knowledge of economics Mazem makes a remarkable comment. "if you financially benefit the wealthy, they will save it, but if you put dollars in the pockets of people who are working or middle class, they will spend it at local businesses. It happens right away." How does he know that? Wealthy people invest their money. Poor people have access to the internet and purchase items online anywhere in the world. The Council provided access to the internet for all Cambridge citizens defeating their campaign to buy local. Indeed they hire out of town consultants to make their decisions. What is up with that? Once the Council bought a book as a present for the City Manager. At a public meeting Mayor Reeves boasted that was purchased at Barnes and Nobles.

The final perplexing comment has to do with a proposed experiment of councilors living on $10 a day. Homeless people live on less. Free food is served at venues seven days a week in and around Cambridge. Free clothing, furniture and more. One can get free mental health services too. Some homeless persons abuse the system and pretend to be ill and call emergency services, which provides free rides to hospitals with a free overnight stay with meals. Why not address some solvable problems  instead of reinventing the wheel, grandstanding for journalists. The more things change, the more they stay the same imitating Washington DC.

[From article]
I watched, and I think everyone knows it should be $15 an hour, but I also think that everyone [in the Boston area] secretly feels in their gut that this just isn’t going to happen,
[. . .]
We have 105,000 people in this city [Cambridge], but we have an unbelievable amount of extremely high value construction that buoys our economy and empowers our local government to do incredible things for education. But how could we not take care of a very basic wage right? We have commercial development, we have academic powerhouses, we have everything we need to empower the upper middle class and above.
[. . .]
We want to house as many people as possible who need it, housing is a human right, but we also have 45 percent of our public school kids on free and reduced lunch, which means that their parents are living around the poverty line.
[. . .]
the fact is that if you financially benefit the wealthy, they will save it, but if you put dollars in the pockets of people who are working or middle class, they will spend it at local businesses. It happens right away.
[. . .]
We’re also going to do a challenge where councilors and others try to live on the current minimum wage. At the end of the day, the lesson will be that none of us really can live on $10 a day.

Study of Academic Psychology Research Finds More Than Half Unreliable

Psychologists testify in courts making predictions about the future based on personal opinions which cause people to lose their freedom. On Friday August 28, 2015 Rush Limbaugh discussed this story and noted that the same problem exists with other kinds of academic research. Universities like Harvard get $140 million a year in taxpayer funds to do research. How reliable are their published findings? They are permitted to be their own judges. Clueless politicians adore these academic priests and use what they say to make public policy. How strange is that?

[From article]
A major investigation into scores of claims made in psychology research journals has delivered a bleak verdict on the state of the science.
An international team of experts repeated 100 experiments published in top psychology journals and found that they could reproduce only 36% of original findings.
The study, which saw 270 scientists repeat experiments on five continents, was launched by psychologists in the US in response to rising concerns over the reliability of psychology research.
[. . .]
Brian Nosek, a professor at the University of Virgina: “Science is a process of uncertainty reduction, and no one study is almost ever a definitive result on its own.”
[. . .]
In the investigation, a whopping 75% of the social psychology experiments were not replicated, meaning that the originally reported findings vanished when other scientists repeated the experiments. Half of the cognitive psychology studies failed the same test. Details are published in the journal Science.
[. . .]

“Scepticism is a core part of science and we need to embrace it. If the evidence is tentative, you should be sceptical of your evidence. We should be our own worst critics,” [Nosek] told the Guardian.
[. . .]
In 2005, [John Ioannidis, professor of health research and policy at Stanford University] published a seminal study that explained why most published research findings are false.
Marcus Munafo, a co-author on the study and professor of psychology at Bristol University, said: “I think it’s a problem across the board, because wherever people have looked, they have found similar issues.” In 2013, he published a report with Ioannidis that found serious statistical weaknesses were common in neuroscience studies.

Study delivers bleak verdict on validity of psychology experiment results
Of 100 studies published in top-ranking journals in 2008, 75% of social psychology experiments and half of cognitive studies failed the replication test
Psychology experiments are failing the replication test – for good reason
There are many reasons why an experiment might fail to replicate, but more than this, the study has highlighted some issues with academic publishing and modern science.

New York TSA Supervisor Arrested For Sex Offenses, Another For Sexual Assault Also In New York

Vernon Lythcott

[From article]
A TSA Supervisor was arrested at Kennedy Airport accused of setting up a meeting in the Dominican Republic to engage in sexual activity with minors.
Vernon Lythcott was arraigned Friday afternoon in federal court.
A judge set bail at $250,000.
. . . Prosecutors allege Lythcott engaged in sex acts with two 15-year-old girls during a January trip to the Dominican Republic.
According to the criminal complaint, Lythcott used the help of a Dominican man to lure the teens from the beach into a van, promising them money and gifts.
He’s accused of having sex with both girls several times.
[. . .]
Thus Lythcott joins an illustrious array of TSA criminals, including pedophile former priest Thomas Harkin at Philadelphia, and Bryant Jermaine Livingston at Dulles Airport, and Harold Glen Rodman, another Dulles graduate of the TSA school of sex crimes, and Michael Scott Wilson at BWI, and Andrew Smeal at Fort Lauderdale, and Jose Salgado at Boston Logan, and the many others — you’ll forgive me if I can’t keep track of them all.

A TSA agent is accused of sexually assaulted a woman at LaGuardia Airport after telling her she needed to be searched in the bathroom.
According to authorities, the suspect was arrested following an investigation of claims by the 22-year-old victim, a college student from Korea.
The victim was in Terminal B at around 8 p.m. Tuesday when she was told by the suspect to go into the bathroom for a search.
Once there, the agent molested her, said police.
After the attack, the victim found witnesses who recognized the suspect. The suspect was wearing a TSA uniform at the time of his arrest and she picked him out a photo array.
Investigators determined he was a TSA agent. He was arrested Thursday night and charged with sexual assault.

Conservatives Oppose Patent Reform Bills, Which Would Harm Individual Inventors

[From article]
“For that reason, Conservatives should be wary when elected officials start talking about reforming the patent system. Certainly, some targeted changes may be warranted on occasion, but, as we have seen time and again, the leadership in Washington thinks every problem, large or small needs ‘comprehensive’ reform and overhaul. Obamacare and Dodd-Frank are just a couple of example,” the letter reads.
There are currently two patent reform bills circulating in the House and the Senate, The Innovation Act and PATENT Act, respectively.
Supports of the legislation say it will update intellectual property laws to reign in “patent trolls” — mostly shell companies that buy up vague patents with the intent of suing other companies for infringement.
Opponents of the bills say they impose overreaching standards that patent litigation that would make it hard for small innovators to protect their property rights. They argue the legislation favors major tech companies like Google and Apple.

Illegal Alien With Previous Conviction, Deported Once, Fugitive From Charge of Rape of Disabled Teen Girl

Jesus Atrian, illegal alien wanted for rape of disabled teen girl

Is this another valedictorian lover who candidate for president Bush reminds us are coming to the United States?

[From article]

An illegal alien is on the run after he was accused of raping a Texas teen.
Police say Jesus Atrian sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl with Down Syndrome in her home in Pearland Monday afternoon.
KHOU reports Atrian is an “illegal alien with a prior adjudication for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact and is required to register as a Sex Offender.”
There was a warrant out for his arrest at the time of the incident. Police believe he is “attempting to travel to Mexico.”
[. . .]

The Friendswood Journal reports the 25-year-old illegal alien “plead guilty to indecency with a child by sexual contact in August of 2014 and was sentenced to eight years of probation.”
Sometime later, Atrian was turned over to officials from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and was reportedly deported to Mexico.
It’s unclear when he once again illegally entered the United States.

White House Science Expert Withholds Public Documents In The Name of Transparency

[From article]
The most transparent administration in American history is at it again — dodging sunlight and evading public disclosure.
Joining former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her secret servers, former IRS witch hunt queen Lois Lerner and her secret email accounts, former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson and her Internet alter egos, and former Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and his non-public email account is White House science czar John Holdren.

President Obama’s top climate change adviser is defending his hide-and-seek game in federal court. Earlier this month, the Washington, D.C.-based Competitive Enterprise Institute appealed a D.C. district court ruling protecting Holdren’s personal email communications from Freedom of Information Act requests.
CEI argues that federal transparency law “applies to the work-related records of agency employees regardless of where they are stored. Many agencies routinely instruct their staff to preserve any such documents that they might have on their personal email accounts.” Yet, as head of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Holdren has placed himself above the law and spirit of transparency that Obama fraudulently vowed to uphold.
[. . .]
The White House science czar’s private email account–which was uncovered when CEI unmasked former EPA head Lisa Jackson’s private email aliases, which were used to conduct government business–resides with his former employer, the Woods Hole Research Center. It’s a far-left eco-alarmist group that pushes radical anti-capitalist interventions (Remember “cap and trade”?) to eliminate the decades-long hyped “global climatic catastrophe.” Their ultimate goal? Establishing government rule by eco-technocrats who detest humanity.
[. . .]

Holdren [co-authored] “Ecoscience,” a creepy tome that called for saving the planet by proposing that:
–Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not.
–The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or food.
–Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise.
–People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
[. . .]

Holdren’s mentor likened the global population to a “pulsating mass of maggots.” These are not harmless dalliances of the past. Holdren’s insidious ideology — and his hidden policy communications — now have an untold impact on American taxpayers.

Racial Divide is Widening, Is It Time Yet, To Recognize Human Nature?

[From article]
To be sure, racism does not fully explain why Flanagan, fired from that same WDBJ7 station, committed this act of pure evil.
Black and homosexual, he said he was the target of anti-gay slurs from black males and racial insults from white colleagues. He had gotten himself fired from other jobs in broadcasting. He carried a grab bag of grudges and resentments.

Black America is surely as sickened by this horror outside Roanoke as was White America by the Charleston massacre.

Women Advisers Of The Great and Weak

Valerie Jarrett (born in Iran) with her mentee, left; Huma Abedin with hers, right

[From article]
As Investors Business Daily has editorialized:
Abedin made $135,000 a year as Clinton's deputy, a period in which she is reported to have raked in as much as $355,000 from consulting contracts. Having a pipeline into the Clinton inner circle is invaluable to some. This reminds us of Johnny Chung's famous comparison of the Clinton White House to a subway turn style -- you had to put money in to gain entry.
Abedin also has some interesting family connections. Her father is said to be close with the Saudi government's Muslim World League, and her mother is said to be a member of the Muslim Sisterhood. World Trade Center bombing prosecutor Andrew McCarthy wrote in National Review: "The ties of Ms. Abedin's father, mother and brother to the Muslim Brotherhood are both specific and substantiated."
The Muslim Brotherhood took power in Egypt with the Obama administration's approval after it had all but abandoned the government of Hosni Mubarak, a long-time ally and friend. It was while Abedin was advising Hillary that State dropped its long-standing policy of having no dealings with the Muslim Brotherhood.
[. . .]
As Andrew McCarthy wrote in National Review, Huma Abedin’s family and work history suggests a devotion to Islamic supremacist ideology that may go a long way to explaining our imploding Middle East policy from Baghdad to Egypt:
[. . .]
The Iranian-born Jarrett (her parents were American-born expatriates) is the only staff member who regularly follows the president home from the West Wing to the residence and one of the few people allowed to call the president by his first name.
Her influence is shown by an account in Richard Miniter's book "Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him."
It relates that at the urging of Jarrett, Obama canceled the operation to kill Osama bin Laden three times before approving the Navy SEAL mission in Pakistan on May 2, 2011. Seems she was concerned about political harm to Obama if the mission failed.

Texas Politician Makes False Racism Claim. Why Not? It Usually Works

Texas Representative Garnet Coleman, left, objected to traffic stop claiming racism

[From article]
Representative Garnet Coleman is a highly influential member of the Texas State House of Representatives, having represented an inner-city district of Houston for almost a quarter of a century. He is a past chair of the Texas Legislative Black Caucus. His family has roots in Houston’s Third Ward going back over a century, and as the highly educated son of a physician, Rep. Coleman can fairly be said to be a member of the power elite of the Houston and Texas black community.
[. . .]
"He talked to me like I was a child," he said of the sheriff's deputy who pulled him over for speeding. "He was so rude and nasty. Even when he found out I was a legislator, he became more rude and nasty.
[. . .]
Perhaps like the Connecticut professor recently arrested, Rep. Coleman failed to consider the possibility that his encounter had been recorded by a dash cam.
[. . .]
(Deputy): "Mr. Coleman. I'll let you go with a warning. This is the same thing Wharton County did with you last year."
(Coleman): " I said. They didn't give me a ticket."
(Deputy): "It's still on your record right now points-wise. If Wharton County had given you a ticket and I gave you a ticket today you'd lose your driver's license on points."
(Deputy): "Stop speeding in a state car, OK? You got state plates on here, man. It's a state official plate. You realize how bad that looks?"

De-Policing The Latest Propaganda Tool To Increase Crime and Violence

[From article]
“Ten years ago, when we stopped a suspect in a black neighborhood, that person had two choices: Run or comply,” said a Chicago cop. “But now more and more suspects are refusing to comply with lawful orders to take their hands out of their pockets, or produce a driver’s license, or answer simple questions about what they are doing in that neighborhood with a bulging backpack at 1:30 a.m. And they know we can’t or won’t do anything about it. Defiance is now the rule.”
Cops are targets today like never before. The black hostility towards police is open, mainstream, and unapologetic.
And increasing. Jailhouse legal scholars fill the internet, explaining why it is alright to disobey lawful commands. And how, if that does not work, “shoot, ‘em. Kill ‘em.”
[. . .]
But cops know better.
They do not fool themselves about the consequences of surrendering large swaths of dangerous places to black criminality.
It sounds bad out there, your intrepid correspondent asked a cop. “Not really. Not yet. Bad is coming.”

Blaming Psychiatric Diagnoses For Crime Is Like the Inquisition's Witch Mongers

Modern society is unable to recognize that evil exists and that humans commit evil acts. They need to have something to blame violence and crime on, other than humans. Thus liberals blame guns. Conservatives blame mental illness. There is no causal connection between a psychiatric diagnosis and crime or violence. But that does not prevent police, politicians, lawyers, journalists from relentless repetition of their fantastic belief. It makes them feel good. They are fighting to stop crime and violence. But using their misguided standard will never end crime or violence. They all refuse to look under the rock where evil hides. So thousands of innocent harmless people continue to be targeted, demonized and abused due to paranoid rage of police, courts, journalists because of their worship of the pharmaceutical and the psychiatric industries and "the human services industrial complex" (MA State Rep. Marie Parente's term.) How is this any different from the witch mongers during the Inquisition? Not very much.

[From article]
Metro Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron said police had not uncovered a motive, but he said Montano had been committed for psychiatric treatment at least four times, twice in 2004 and twice in 2007.

Psychiatry with the hoods

"This individual has had significant psychiatric or psychological issues," he said.
He also noted that Montano had been arrested in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in 2004 for assault and resisting arrest, and said he was reported as a missing person to the Murfreesboro police department on Monday.
[. . .]
Metro Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson said violence like Wednesday's shooting are likely to happen "anywhere we gather," then added: "This is maybe what we call the new normal. We can't say we're not going to theaters, we can't say we're not going to church. We carry on."

[From article]
Police released an image of Vincente David Montano, 29, who was holding an Airsoft replica pistol when he attacked a mostly empty screening at the Carmike Hickory 8 theater around 1pm Wednesday.
Officers say he let off huge amounts of red-tinted tear gas and slashed a man with his axe.
Montano, who was wearing a surgical mask in the attack, was shot dead when he tried to leave via a back entrance.
Terrified moviegoers thought Montano's gun was real, and called in police, one of whom reportedly had a brief firefight with him.
Moments later he is said to have tried to escape the theater, where he was gunned down by a SWAT team just outside an emergency exit.
Officers said Montao was wearing two backpacks during the attack, one of which had a replica bomb inside - which disposal experts destroyed.
Police later revealed that Montano had a history of mental illness, including paranoid schizophrenia, and had been committed four times.
A spokesman for the Nashville Metro Police Department said he suffered 'significant psychiatric or psychological issues' and had been arrested in 2004 for assault and resisting arrest.
Police said that Montano's mother, Denise Pruit, filed a missing persons report with Texas rangers two days ago. She hadn't seen Montano in person since 2013.
[. . .]
When he got outside, he was gunned down by officers from a SWAT team.
Officers then walked into the theater to search the scene and were forced to wear gas masks because the air was so thick with pepper spray.
In a second briefing on Wednesday evening, Antioch police chief Steve Anderson said that there were only eight people in the screening of Mad Max when the man began his attack.
Anderson said three officers went to the theater and were preparing to engage the man when the SWAT team arrived and took over.
