Charlie Rangel, Poster Boy: Reformer to Corrupt Hack

Are Rangel's woes due to Obama vengeance? Having begun as a reformer Rangel is now the poster boy for what ails US Government. He is a compelling argument for term limits.

Dan Brinzac.
POWER BROKER: Rep. Charlie Rangel’s status as Harlem’s most powerful politician made it imperative for fellow Dems to seek his approval, as Mario Cuomo did in ’82 on his road to become governor.

Obama Lies About Freed Lockerbie Bomber

[From article]
"Tuesday, Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) announced that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was going to suspend its hearings on the sudden release last year of convicted Lockerbie bomber and Libyan citizen Abdel Baset al-Megrahi.
[. . .]
The real reason is that the probe might also have had to disclose what President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder knew and when they knew it. That's because the London Times on Sunday published a letter written by deputy US ambassador Richard LeBaron in the days before Megrahi was set free,
[. . .]
the letter undermines Obama's statement that he had been "surprised, disappointed and angry" by the release last August. It turns out that he knew all along and that his anger and disappointment didn't extend so far as to make a diplomatic big deal about it."

[. . .]
"If you're a company with a government contract of over $10 million [like more than half of the top 50 US companies] or if you're a company with more than 20 percent foreign shareholders, you can't even mention a candidate in an ad for up to a full year before the election . . . There are no similar prohibitions for unions representing government contractors."
[. . .]
How about "Consumers Organized for Reliable Electricity"? That's the front group White House senior adviser David Axelrod formed to shill for a big utility-tax hike sought by Commonwealth Edison in Chicago.

Or how about "Americans for Stable Quality Care"? That was the ObamaCare-promoting coalition funded by Big Pharma, the AARP, AMA and the Service Employees International Union. The group pitched in $150 million for pro-Obama ads to create the illusion of grass-roots support."

Restaurtants Higher Priority Than Hospitals

[From article]
"Tragically, 100,000 people die each year from infections contracted in health-care facilities, according to the CDC; millions manage to survive but more suffer for weeks or months, sometimes undergoing amputations or other life-changing disabilities.
[. . .]
Hospital infections are caused largely by unclean hands and poorly cleaned equipment. More than half the surfaces in operating rooms that are supposed to be disinfected are overlooked,
[. . .]
at most hospitals hand hygiene is poorly enforced. Doctors fail to clean their hands before touching a patient half the time, according to a 2009 joint commission analysis. Even when doctors and nurses do clean their hands, their hands can become contaminated again seconds later, when they pull open the privacy curtain to see the next patient or put their hands on the patient's bedrail."

Orzag's Budget Fantasies Exposed

[From article]
"In the federal budget process, the baseline scenario is typically based on current law. But the Obama administration has argued that it should be able to work from “current policy.” That way, they can stuff all sorts of expensive future changes into the baseline.

Since 2007, Democrats in Congress have violated PAYGO requirements to the tune of nearly $1 trillion.'

Twisted Priorites Waste Taxpayer Funds

MBTA spent taxpayer funds to purchase ramps for the Green Line that were never used. They waste taxpayer money but fail to make access a reality. Journalists seldom recognize the failure to ensure that persons with disabilities enjoy equal participation in basic rights and privileges. They usually focus on needs of upper class groups (homosexuals, black Americans and women) who experienced historical discrimination. Persons with non physical disabilities are ignored here. Abusive police and politicians continue to use psychiatry to deny citizens freedom. Human services corporations focus on earning money not rights of their clients.

Celebrating the ADA

What progress has the city made regarding curbing abuses of persons accused of mental illness? In 1928 (See Angelina Jolie's film "The Changling") Los Angeles Police routinely put uncooperative citizens in mental hospitals. Whistleblowers were hospitalized. 80 years later police and politicians continue to use psychiatry to cover up criminal abuses by public officials. What good has the ADA done to prevent psychiatric abuses?

Psychiatry Mocks the Constitution

Does the definition of erotomania apply to politicians too? Each form of bizarre behavior whether or not illegal has its own mental illness. These "illnesses" (made up by consensus) are always treatable with drugs that may cause violence or deformed babies. Psychologists and psychiastrists are always able to make diagnoses without ever having met their "clients." What allows all of these irrational protocols to make use of the courts to take an individual's freedom and to force drug usage? If the behavior is a crime arrest the violator. If not get this unconstitutional mumbo jumbo boondoggle out of the court system.

[From article]
"The two men, Peyton and Weldon, who were allegedly in pursuit, appear to be textbook cases of celebrity stalkers, both with extensive histories of mental illness.

Psychiatry Enables Death of Woman

Here's another example of the arbitrary and capricious nature of "scientific" (Ahem!) psychiatric evaluations. In this case psychiatrists in Cambridge released a woman who then attacked her friend and police. Was she taking psychiatric medications known to cause violence? How many evaluations go the other way when personal animosity inspires psychiatric charlatans to take a citizen's freedom? Elite Colleges Discriminate Against Poor Whites, Others

[From article]
"Writes Nieli, there seems an unwritten admissions rule at America's elite schools: "Poor Whites Need Not Apply."

For admissions officers at our top private and public schools, diversity is "a code word" for particular prejudices.

For these schools are not interested in a diversity that would include "born-again Christians from the Bible belt, students from Appalachia and other rural and small-town areas, people who have served in the U.S. military, those who have grown up on farms or ranches, Mormons, Pentecostals, Jehovah's Witnesses, lower- and middle-class Catholics, working-class 'white ethnics,' social and political conservatives, wheelchair users, married students, married students with children or older students just starting into college and raising children."

"Students in these categories," writes Nieli, "are often very rare at the most competitive colleges, especially the Ivy League."

"Lower-class whites prove to be all-around losers" at the elite schools. They are rarely accepted. Lower-class Hispanics and blacks are eight to 10 times more likely to get in with the same scores."

History Of Periodic Table

History shows that it is not always unknown, uneducated and marginalized citizens who support heinous ideas. William Shockley credited with discovering the element silicon supported eugenics and sterilization of poor persons and persons with disabilities. It is natural to give credence to successful, wealthy and powerful members of society. Their mendacity and lack of integrity is seldom questioned.

[From Article]
"Two scientists at Bell Labs in New Jersey made the first transistor from germanium because it conducts electricity better than silicon and is easier to purify. In fact, the duo’s boss, William Shockley, had given up on the transistor because he couldn’t get silicon to work. When his underlings outdid him with germanium, Shockley pulled rank and stole credit. He became known as the “father” of transistors and shared the Nobel Prize for their discovery. (Shockley went on to become a notorious eugenicist, arguing for the sterilization of the lower class and donating to “genius sperm banks.”)

Obama Ignores Veteran's Brain Injury Center

[From article]
"It was inauguration day for the nation’s most modern facility for the treatment of active-duty soldiers and veterans suffering from brain injuries and psychological disorders—5,000 of them with families on hand.
[. . .]
Where were they? President Obama was in meetings and having a hamburger lunch with Russian President Medvedev. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was also at these meetings, though not at the hamburger shop in Virginia. Michelle Obama, who has made caring for military families one of her top priorities, couldn’t make it; she was said to have given her final "no" at the last minute. She was accompanying Mrs. Medvedev on a visit to the Duke Ellington School for the Arts in D.C., where they watched a dance performance. Vice President Joe Biden also met with Russians and with Israelis. Defense Secretary Robert Gates sent his deputy William Lynn III. All four Joint Chiefs sent their deputies. General Eric Shinseki, secretary of Veterans Affairs, couldn’t make it. Not one among the legions of pro- and antiwar hooting senators could find the time. Only two members of the House of Representatives found their way to the ceremony."

Young Leaders Incompetent

[From article]
"This is a nation—a world—badly in need of adult supervision.
[. . .]
Youth is supposed to bring vigor and vision. In general, however, I think we find in our modern political figures that what it really brings is need—for greatness, to be transformative, to leave a legacy. Such clamorous needs! How very boring they are, how puny and small, but how huge in their consequences.
[. . .]
But here's the thing. You have to look hard for wise men. They're not all over the place anymore. There's kind of an emerging mentoring gap going on in America right now. You can see it in a generalized absence of the wise old politician/lawyer/leader/editor who helps the young along, who teaches them the ropes and ways and traditions of a craft."

Government Out of Control

[From Article]

Government is the Blob — ever-expanding, heedless, randomly rolling over innocents that happen to get in its way. This isn’t just an abstract argument about “The Road to Serfdom” or “Leviathan.” It isn’t just a complaint about the federal government’s overreach.

The Blob is right here in New York, on your sidewalk, writing you up and using the money to hire more Blobocrats.[. . .]

New York has awakened from the nearly 30-year nightmare of unchecked lawlessness that began in the early 1960s — only to discover we’re in a tonally different dreamland of rampant statism.
[. . .]
Ending the crime spree, though, was a massive challenge. Ending city pettifoggery and holding municipal workers to the same standards as citizens isn’t."

Internet Privacy Gone

[From Article]
"“In general, people shouldn’t expect much for their anonymity on the Internet,” said Columbia Law Professor Eben Moglen. “We’re currently exploring the social consequences of how much information we give to other people. Once you’ve turned over your information to a blog or to a host company, that information belongs to someone else. In the end, it’s less about our right to be anonymous as it as about another guy’s right to sell us out.”
[. . .]
And in 1995, the Supreme Court ruled that when it comes to matters of political speech, anonymity is a right."

Obama Shows Arrogance Repeatedly

[From article]
"The aggregate effect? Nothing so much as condescension: The subtext of this phrase, used over and over and over, is, “You, the masses, are quite likely misunderstanding everything I’ve heretofore been plainly discussing in our native tongue. Allow me to further simplify it for you.”

Bank Busters Fix banks?

[From article]
"In its attempt to protect individuals (and businesses) from the consequences of their own bad decisions, Big Government will now try to foresee all possible risks and mitigate them. How noble. How naively Utopian.
[. . .]
A government that can't even pay its own bills and must borrow against the future earnings of people not yet born seems a bad choice to oversee the financial well-being of the nation."

Arab Israeli Alliance Against Iran

[From article]
"The Jews and Arabs have been fighting for one hundred years. The Arabs and the Persians have been going at (it) for a thousand," argues Goldberg on The Atlantic's Web site.[. . .]
On June 12, The Times in London wrote that Saudi Arabia had recently "conducted tests to stand down its air defenses to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran's nuclear facilities" -- in the event of an attack on the nuclear power plant in Bushehr. In March, Western intelligence agencies reported that there were signs of secret negotiations between Jerusalem and Riyadh to discuss the possibility."

Obama's Alarmingly Fast Release of Russian Spies

[From article]
"Writing on the website of World Affairs, Vladimir Kara-Murza says that Yelena Bonner, the widow of academician Andrei Sakharov and a prominent advocate of human rights in Russia, “called the swap a missed opportunity and denounced the Obama administration not only for agreeing to an unequal exchange (ten for four) but, more importantly, for not requesting the freeing of more political prisoners, of whom there are scores in today’s Russia.”

Of the four "spies" released by Russia two of them worked for the UK. One was a scholar not a spy. So Obama gave up ten known Russian spies for one Russian that allegedly worked for the US.

Earn More Money From Drug Caused Suicides

Check out the anti-depressants served up by the taxpayer funded ($2 billion each year) human services industry. They won't reveal that anti depressants cause suicidal thoughts and violence. Even the drug-industry-controlled FDA requires a warning on the bottles. But that won't stop those morally superior, selfless, altruistic, caring psychiatrists from feeding them to inmates to help them get happy in a cell.

Yankee Boss Needs No Embellishment

Dick Schapp a great sports writer repeats his description of Boss Steinbrenner as "the man who went from humble beginnings." ("The Boss, Billy & Mr. October," New York Post, July 16, 2010, Page 85) The Yankee owner was a great manager, a great showman, and a magnificent money maker. He was also an elegant philanthropist. But his beginnings were not humble. Having a successful businessman father is not humble. Schapp distorts reality to enhance the image of a great man whose life needs no embellishment.

Media Denies Black People Can Be Racist Criminals

Major media journalists promote a fantasy that black people are different from white people. They are as corrupt, as dangerous, as deceptive, as greedy and as mendacious. Is the premise that because an individual is a member of a minority group that has experienced discrimination and brutality that all members of the group are virtuous? If minority status is a badge of honor, whites who are only 16 percent of the world population are more virtuous. Jews are more virtuous thatn non Jews. Under the Obama standards of globalism whites are the oppressed minoritry and more virtuous. Obama's standards support the Michael Savage thesis that liberalism is a mental disorder. Denying reality and living as if the fantasy is real is called psychosis. Here is another area where journalists are not keeping Americans informed. Instead they promote propaganda not facts.

NAACP Reveals Its Hypocrisy and Deception

Is it possible that the NAACP is intolerant of criticism of any liberal black person? The NAACP President not only denies what is fact but he seems to support abusing white people with character assassination but is intolerant of any criticism. This is the tactics used by Communists in American politics for many years. They attack individuals and prohibit them from defending themselves. It is at best un-American.
